Yes — the whole site works on any modern browser. eBooks are PDFs you can read on any device; exams are taken right on the site.

Each unit has an eBook to read, an untimed practice quiz, and a timed final exam. The unit's hours are credited when you pass its final.

Yes. State regulations require you to take a unit's quiz before its final. The quiz has no time limit and no required score — it's practice, and you can take it as often as you like.

Each final allows one minute per question unless the unit says otherwise. A countdown is shown while you work, and the time limit is enforced by our servers — closing the page doesn't stop the clock.

You can immediately take the retake exam, which has different questions. If you fail that one too, a short recovery period applies (equal to the unit's hours) during which no finals can be taken in any course — then you start over with the original exam. Retakes are always free.

For the 45-Hour Package, DRE rules mean finals open four days after payment, and at most 15 course-hours may be completed in any 24-hour period. Single-unit courses have no waiting period.

Yes. Once you've passed a final, the course page has a link to review the questions you missed.

The moment you pass the last final in a course. It's issued as a PDF, right on the site — nothing arrives by mail. You can download it again any time from your course page or your account.

Your name and license number, each unit with its hours and DRE approval number, the completion date, and our sponsor number — everything the DRE asks for when you renew.

You submit the certificate with your renewal application through the DRE's eLicensing system. Keep the PDF — the DRE may ask for it during an audit for up to five years.

No. When you register you affirm, under penalty of perjury, that you are the person taking every exam. Certificates are issued in the account holder's name and license number only.
